Trail Guide to the Body July 11, 2010 Dash Fantastic book. Clear pictures and well written in easy to read language. This book is a must for all massage therapists. A book that I think I will refer to in years to come aswell.
No better book for learning to palpate muscles and bones February 18, 2010 Ferret 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you're a physio student, get this book.
This book was on the reading list for my sports massage therapy diploma and was pretty much the only book I bothered to haul around with me. It is brilliant. I'm now half way through my first year of a physiotherapy degree and it is still proving invaluable. I take it to all our practical classes. This book will teach you how to locate and palpate most of the skeletal muscles. It is very very clear and easy to understand. I had about 3 people try to teach me how to locate psoas major in the abdomen and I couldn't get it, I read the paragraph in this book and did exactly what it said and got it first time.
I have Gray's and Palastanga but when it comes to just learning muscles and bones there isn't a better book than this one, really worth the money.
Good but a bit boring book doesn't make me want to read it. January 19, 2010 Martin (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I call it my red and white book white pages red muscles,I have quite a few books on muscle but this one I pick up less because I find it boring. The cds of this book is amazing though! I bought another one guess I can't state the name here. but thanks good condition and quick delivery.
Trail Guide to the Body January 7, 2010 Mrs. C. J. Inglis (England) What a great book. I'm doing an Anatomy and Physiology course along with massage and this book is definately a must have item. It is invaluable. It would also be perfect for anyone doing a course in sports massage or physiotherapy.
Definately worth buying!!! October 6, 2009 Tracey L S (UK) This book is absolutely amazing for anyone studying anatomy and physiology.
The graphics are excellent and it is written so that anyone can understand it.
Highly recommend.
