| Customer Reviews: Chest X-Ray. Fantastic light reading January 8, 2010 Manxman (Liverpool) Got this for my brother for Xmas. Before I get attacked for this, I should point out that he is a med student and wanted this particular book.
His little face lit up on Xmas day, and for the rest of the day he sat transfixed by the pictures (of what just looked like ribs to me).
The book itself is pocket size, so if you are in the middle of a chest x-raying situation, you could always refer back to the book.
Fantastic book, and highly recommended by my brother! :-) He now wants to collect all of the others in the series.

What a brilliant book.....it presents all the information clearly and with good x-rays to back it up. A brilliant buy at under £20.
A must read for student Radiographers everywhere.
Brilliant short textbook May 24, 2005 Infodoktor 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I needed this book and kind of missed it for quite a while. Since I moved from Germany into England I did not really now how you guys present xrays, and I was a bit helpless if I had to do it on the wardrounds. After looking around for quite a while I found this little booklet, and it was the perfect solution for my problems. I learned how to present xrays, and all the important words I need to learn. It is not a radiology textbook, but I did not need it for that. It is more a textbook on how to learn a very structured approach on presenting different kinds of xrays. I would recommend it for anybody who is supposed to read xrays in an intelligent way!
Excellent book ! March 19, 2003 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Excellent book. Films are a little small (to be expected with a book of this size) and some of the fine detail is a little hard to see. That said, the text is excellent and it is approached in a structured and logical way. Perhaps it could expand on some more clinical aspects of the films (e.g. causes of consolidation etc) but I suppose that is outside the scope of this book. Jeremy Lewis, Medical Student, Nottingham
Good - shame it's too short June 14, 2001 winnipou@yahoo.com (London, UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
A well written book, with clear pictures and a logical approach. One is left with the only wish to have yet more practical examples. Very good value for money. I would recommend it to any medical student and junior doctor.
